Jeanie Marie Buss (born Jeanie Marie Buss) is an American woman in business. The current president is as well as the sole owner of the Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. Buss hails originally from California was born into an exceptionally wealthy family. Jerry Buss' father was a real-estate magnate who was later a part owner of the Lakers along with several other companies in the field of sports. When her parents broke up in 1972, she believed they had abandoned her. When she was 19, she was employed in the family business. The team was later renamed the Los Angeles Blades, a professional team of roller hockey. Before becoming vice president for the Lakers She was also the president of the Great Western Forum. Each of them enjoyed equal voting rights. She was named president of Los Angeles Lakers. Buss also co-owns Women of Wrestling, a professional wrestling promotion with headquarters at Los Angeles.
